Our rides

All year, in all weathers, GS Henley members share the sense of achievement and togetherness that comes from riding in a group. And guests are always welcome.

 With a Saturday club ride and Sunday Social ride there’s something for everyone. And the network the club provides prompts spontaneous midweek rides too.

 Weekend rides often attract 30 to 40 riders of all abilities (especially when the weather is nice!). Routes are published to members beforehand. We ride in groups of six or so, according to ability to maintain the likely pace. Average speeds range from 23kph to 38kph.

 We have a ‘no drop’ culture, so no need to worry about keeping up. Someone will always be there to help. In return, we ask you to be open and honest about where you are as a cyclist and to let the group know if you’re suffering.

 Saturday rides offer 100k, 80k and 60k options, whereas Sunday is usually 60-70k.
